Three teenage sisters were arrested after they allegedly tried to stab their mother to death because she turned off the Wi-Fi. The three girls from Houston, Texas, reportedly “coordinated a plan to try and kill” their mother last weekend, according to authorities.
The teens, ages 14, 15 and 16, allegedly grabbed kitchen knives and chased their mother throughout their house on Sunday night, Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez reported in a social media post. The sheriff said the daughters also chased their mother into the street with the knives.
The 39-year-old mother was struck in the ankle with a brick after one of her daughters threw it at her, per the report. The teen’s grandmother attempted to intervene, but the 70-year-old woman could not protect the mother.
“The grandmother was knocked over while trying to protect” her, Gonzalez said.
Deputies responded to a call on Barkers Crossing Avenue near Barker Cypress and found a woman who had been assaulted by her three daughters.

Based on the report, the mother and grandmother were not seriously injured. The three siblings were apprehended and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They are being held in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Centre.
Neighbours reported frequent disturbances at the family’s home, according to Fox Local. One neighbour said the girls are known for causing trouble in the community. The neighbour also said that she and her sister heard yelling coming from the teen’s home and later saw police outside the home.
The report has sent shockwaves across the internet, with many stunned that three girls would allegedly attempt to take their mother’s life over Wi-Fi. Internet users have condemned the actions of the three siblings. The news report also left many expressing that the children should be severely reprimanded, with many suggesting that the mother should wash her hands of them.
