After a brief exchange of gunfire nearby killed a 33-year-old man in St. Ann’s, Trinidad & Tobago, on Sunday morning, churchgoers fled in terror.
Nickel Morris has been identified as the victim.
Morris was reportedly at the bottom of Sydenham Avenue in his black Nissan Almera around 7:45 in the morning.
Morris may be seen stepping out of his car, crossing the street, and then stopping to speak with a male buddy on CCTV.
Morris and the unnamed man spoke for a few seconds before it ended.
A silver car pulled up next to them a few seconds later, and two men got out and shot Morris dead before taking off.
Without suffering any injuries, Morris’s pal fled.
Morris had previously been targeted, a store owner revealed.
There is yet no known reason behind the strike.
