After being shot and injured by a licensed firearms holder during the Friday night robbery at a bar, a man who is believed to have been a gunman involved in an armed robbery attempt is still in the hospital under police guard.
The injured man, who escaped the scene, is the target of a manhunt by the police.
According to reports, two males, one of whom was carrying a gun, broke in at around 11:50 p.m. on Friday while customers were gathering at the bar and demanded money and other valuables.
It is thought that gunfire was exchanged between the armed man and a licensed firearms owner who confronted him during the crime.
According to additional reports, the shooter fled the bar with his accomplice.
After checks, a man suspected of being the shooter was discovered with gunshot wounds on the road.
After being transported to the hospital, the injured man was admitted to receive treatment.
Given the blood trail seen near the location where the injured man was discovered, the police suspect that the “other robber” may have been shot.
