Popular Jamaican vlogger CMR shared that he is currently struggling with depression amid his legal challenges. CMR candidly shared his recent experiences in a new vlog posted to his YouTube channel on Sunday evening.
The vlog, titled “How My Days Are Of Lately,” captures him out and about, showing off his new vehicle, and getting it washed. He also recounted his wife Julian ‘Chrissy’ Carter’s car-cleaning habits. The video, just over 32 minutes long, later shows him at a church-like event, which is seemingly part of his efforts to navigate this challenging period.
Speaking about his depression, he indicated that several things are affecting his mental health. His legal troubles are no doubt on the list, but he only highlighted the death of his grandmother, who resided in Jamaica. While discussing the difficulty of processing his mother’s death, he also noted his uncertainty about attending her funeral in Jamaica.
CMR, born Cushane Carter, expressed that his mornings often begin with sadness, and he asked his supporters to share their coping methods when it comes to depression. Despite the emotional weight, he reaffirmed his resilience, saying, “I’m a soldier… born to be strong.”
His uncertainty about attending the funeral may stem from his legal troubles since he is currently out on bail following his arrest for a molestation charge. When there are legal issues, leaving the country depends on the bail agreement and the court’s permission.
If there are no travel restrictions in the bail agreement, a request must be submitted to the court for permission to travel. Processing the request may take time, and a hearing may be included. According to research, the defendant and the bailor should be present at the hearing if one is scheduled.
It is unclear if CMR’s bail agreement has any travel restrictions. If he leaves the state while on bail and violates travel restrictions or doesn’t appear in court, a judge may issue an arrest warrant.
