A video was shared online showing a bear viciously attacking a man in India. Many locals were apparently at a river when a sloth bear started chasing them. The video begins when the bear is in the water, and several people can be heard screaming as the bear approaches them.
The screams increase when the dangerous animal exits the water and begins chasing the locals on land. The locals scamper in various directions to escape the bear. There are also several people in small rowboats in the water, which is where the person filming the incident is.
The situation becomes even more devastating when the bear directs its attention to a man trying to stand after falling. The bear chases him into the water, where the man seemingly tries to escape and falls.
This is when the animal pounces on him and attacks. Amid the screams of everyone, the man can be heard crying out while the bear continues to attack him in the water. People, both on land and in boats, are seen drawing closer to the bear, but they are fearful and hesitate to get too close.
It is unclear if the man survived the attack, as the 35-second-long video ends while the man is screaming.
