A family in Georgia is demanding justice for a man who was shot and killed by his girlfriend, who has not been arrested. The deceased, Telvin Osborne, was fatally shot on Sunday morning when his girlfriend was reportedly cleaning her gun while intoxicated.
Deputies responded to reports of a shooting on the 800 block of Four Point Road in Hephzibah around 5:45 a.m., according to the officials. When the police arrived at their residence, Osborne was found in the master bedroom with a gunshot wound to the chest.
The 30-year-old African American was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Burke County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is probing the incident, per report. Authorities reported that the complainant, Hannah Cobb, has been cooperating with the deputies as the investigation proceeds.

As the story is still developing, the officials withhold some of the details out of respect for the victim’s family until they are thoroughly notified. However, the family is furious at the authorities for not arresting her. The deceased’s cousin took to social media, sharing the tragedy and injustice with the public.
On social media platform X, formerly Twitter, user Mark Stevenson shared a photo of Osborne and his Caucasian girlfriend. Stevenson wrote that his cousin was killed by his girlfriend, Hannah Cobb after she allegedly returned home drunk after partying at a club.

“My cousin’s girlfriend Hannah Cobb killed him Sunday morning and is claiming that she got drunk at the club and came home to clean her gun at 5 am and it “accidentally” went off,” Stevenson said.
He indicated that she has not been charged because her father is a police officer. However, he expressed that his family is willing to take matters into their own hands and “get justice one way or another.”
“Her dad is a cop, and currently she has not been charged. The Burke Co. Sheriff has already been warned that it’s about to get very real down there. My family is too deep in that area for this to be taken lightly. RIH Telvin, we are going to get justice one way or another,” he concluded.
