Dancehall artiste Govana dropped a groovy song that fans are loving. The single, titled Mawning Sir, was released with imagery on YouTube on March 15. It has since garnered more than 135,000 views and claims No. 19 on the Trending chart. The song features adult lyrical content and is paired with a raunchy music video of video vixens gyrating to the infectious song, which was produced by Shakespeare.
The song begins with the risqué chorus that is done by a woman. In the lewd lyrics, Govnana explicitly details a woman’s sexual attributes and sexual activities. He declares that he only pursues adult women and mentions cheating women who are closely monitored by their partners.
He brags about living a playboy lifestyle, which is widely known in Jamaica as being a “gyalis.” He boasts about the array of women he has, from an Italian sexual partner to jealous and violent Jamaican women.
The music video was shot and edited by Jxssejxmes. Throughout the music video, scantily dressed women can be seen doing provocative dance moves. Govana is first seen deejaying on a doorstep while the women twerked. The second scene with the deejay shows him seemingly at an event surrounded by women. Govana, along with associates, continued to vibe to the music while the women showed off their dancing skills.
Following the release, fans have been praising the song’s infectious vibe that is expected to get people moving on the dance floor.
