Dancehall artiste RajahWild is causing a stir online with his latest performance, which many are describing as demonic. The Jamaican entertainer, who is known for creating songs that advocate “sinful’ acts, recently appeared on BBC Radio 1Xtra. He sported a black beast-like mask with horns and gave a head-turning performance that features him shouting and lowering his voice to have a hoarse, ominous tone.
RajahWild deejayed about turning into a vicious monster at night and wanting his partner to sign a contract with her blood. He also tells her that “monsters need to feed”, while asking if she would “bleed” for him. He expressed that he is “dark and mystique” and later promises to confess all his secrets to her, but warns that she can never leave him if he does. After performing the controversial song, he goes on to sing other tracks from his catalogue, including GoGo.
RajahWild’s performance garnered many passionate, confused, and downright hilarious reactions on Instagram. Many users were stunned by the artist’s gothic look and provocative lyrics, with one person commenting, “The blood the blood the blood!! Pan we say Good Friday” and another saying, “Rebuke it in the name of Jesus.”

Some questioned whether the performance was demonic, theatrical, or just a desperate grab for attention. A few users pointed out that the whole thing felt more like a “spiritual manifestation” than a musical set, while others simply asked, “So what is he saying? Does he want the girl when she is bleeding?”
While some followers chalked it up to edgy marketing and artistic expression, many were left uneasy, calling for spiritual intervention with cries of “The blood of Jesus is against this” and “Smaddy get the olive oil!” Others, however, found humour in the controversy, poking fun at Seani B’s visibly uncomfortable reaction and joking that the man in the background “looks scared yf”.
A handful of commenters urged the artist’s team to steer him back to more grounded content, warning that “controversy sells, but only for a short while.” Still, amidst the backlash, there were those defending his right to creative expression, calling him “raw talent” and encouraging the public to either support or scroll past. Whether performance art or PR stunt, RajahWild has once again proven he knows how to get the people talking.
