An after-school brawl outside Entrepreneur High School in Highland, California, turned into a chaotic scene on Thursday afternoon when two officers were attacked. The officers were caught on camera as they intervened, trying to break up the altercation between teenage girls and restore order. However, they ended up being assaulted by multiple women who were determined to continue fighting.
Two officers, a male and a female, with the San Bernardino school police, responded to a physical confrontation that erupted in the school’s parking lot around 3 p.m. The police officers were struggling to get the situation under control as multiple girls jumped into the brawl.
When law enforcers attempted to defuse the situation by restraining one of the ladies involved, they became targets. In the video, captured by an onlooker, the policewoman tries to handcuff a girl on the ground while her colleague warns the others to keep their distance. However, one of the women shouted obscenities at the policeman and hit him when he tried to keep her at bay by pushing her.

Another woman rushed in to either fight or intervene with the detainment, causing the policeman to tackle her to the ground and arrest her. Tensions continued to boil when a woman in a red top and sweatpants, believed to be a parent, joined the commotion. She confronted the police and referred to one of the girls as her daughter. She also expressed her determination to fight.
The female officer was attacked when the first girl who was placed in cuffs lunged at the officer. Another time, a teen snatched her hair, which was up in a low bun, and tried to haul her away from the older woman. The girl, along with several others in the fight, was arrested by the police. However, it remains unclear whether any formal charges have been filed.
