A Pennsylvania woman was arrested after a disturbing video of her defecating on the hood of someone’s car went viral. The shocking footage stemmed from a road rage incident that ended in a filthy scene in Delaware County. The graphic video, filmed in Prospect Park, captures the woman bending over as she relieved herself on a silver vehicle on 4th Street and Madison Avenue.
She then returns to her black car as if nothing happened, while the other driver argues. A third driver witnessed the road rage and filmed the now widely circulated video. After the April 29 incident blew up on the internet, the woman was identified as 44-year-old Christina Solometo by the police and taken into custody. Authorities revealed that Solometo, a resident of Ridley Park, had used her faeces to retaliate after the driver of the silver vehicle cut her off.
According to authorities, the driver whose car was soiled did not make a formal report to the police. However, police became aware of it after the witness who filmed it shared the video on Instagram. After seeing the vile video, authorities identified the suspect and arrested her on Thursday. She is now facing multiple charges, including indecent exposure, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, harassment and depositing waste on a highway, according to NBC.

On the day of her arrest, Solometo was laughing while police escorted her away in handcuffs. A local Pennsylvania reporter asked her what happened, and Solometo responded, “The lady [the other driver] chased me… and I asked her not to attack me.” She also added, “I have a sickness,” but did not elaborate on the nature of her illness. Meanwhile, Solometo’s family refused to speak to the media and is in the process of obtaining a lawyer.
Many social media users found the video amusing, but Prospect Park Police Chief David Madonna emphasised that it was a serious issue. In a statement to NBC10, he acknowledged that the video has gotten its share of jokes and puns, but officials are “treating it seriously” because such a thing can not happen in the community. He stressed that no town wants to be associated with such behaviour and that the attention this incident has brought is unwelcome.
