The investigation into Clarendon’s triple homicide on Thursday night continued into Friday morning. While police continued to probe the scene in Frazersfield, Rocky Point, residents gathered outside, some in tears. The wailing grew louder when neighbours watched the police escort the suspect, Daniel Henry, away in handcuffs with his face obscured.
Persons said to be close to Henry, who was streaming live on TikTok hours after the incident happened, expressed their shock. A woman known online as Bridgeyy identified herself as the cousin of Henry and described him as a non-violent individual. Bridgeyy, who says she heard the devastating news while at the hairdresser’s, said she always visits him when she comes to Jamaica. She added that Henry has a child, whom he is very proud of.
A man, who identified himself as Ricardo, said Henry is his best friend. He said they frequently went diving together for two years and encountered sharks. “I know him more than everybody… a mi best friend, weh mi and him go war wid shark,” Ricardo said.
Ricardo described Henry as a calm individual and his best friend, who was gravely affected by the death of his father. It was indicated that the passing of his father led to his ongoing mental health issues. Henry was receiving treatment, but it appears he had an episode on Thursday night after a dispute with his family. Ricardo described the gruesome scene, saying the home is now filled with blood and the relatives are left headless.
Reports say that three members of the same family were killed during a violent incident in Clarendon on Thursday night. The attack occurred around 9:10 p.m. at their home. Police say a male relative, reportedly in his 20s, allegedly attacked his mother, brother, and a female cousin with a machete. Officers who responded to the scene found all three victims at the home, and they were pronounced deceased on the spot. The victims were later identified as Annette Lindo, Ingrid Keisha Lindo, and Linval Henry.
