TikTok personalities Rosealee and Jakes got into an altercation in Seaview Gardens this week. The drama was, as usual, caught on a live stream and has become a hot topic on social media. Just days after Rosealee allegedly paid for a new place to live to escape her community, an argument erupted between her and Jakes.
According to what unfolded, the argument centred around a television Rosealee had instructed Jakes to buy for their son and daughter. The TV was meant to be used with a game that Rosealee reportedly spent about $170,000 on. The confrontation began when Rosealee showed up at Jake’s regular hangout spot in Seaview Gardens, not far from the home they once shared.
At the time, Jakes was live on TikTok when Rosealee confronted him about failing to buy the TV. From the start, Jakes repeatedly warned her to leave the area, but Rosealee refused, raising her voice and accusing him of pretending he could not afford the TV. During her outburst, Rosealee shouted that Jakes was “working” every day through his live streams and acting broke when it came to the children, but could easily find money if it involved spending on women.
The exchange quickly escalated, with Jakes threatening to physically harm her while continuing to tell her to leave. Rosealee did not back down and dared him to act while accusing him of chasing clout. As tempers flared, Jakes attempted to move closer to Rosealee, but someone stepped in and restrained him. He struggled to escape them but was held back while Rosealee could still be heard in the background, hurling insults.
Jakes later claimed that Rosealee had been provoking him since the Sandz Caribbean Music Festival on January 1. After the situation cooled, Jakes addressed viewers on his livestream. He insisted he wants his children to have everything and made it clear he has no interest in rekindling a relationship with Rosealee, despite ongoing public speculation.
He said his main focus is on completing his house so the children can have their own rooms. Jakes also explained that Rosealee bought the game as a birthday gift for their son and told him about the TV over the phone. He said both Rosealee and his son urged him to buy it, and he agreed he would. However, he stressed that he would not do it on her timing. He also warned that things could get worse if she continued to push him.
