Dancehall couple KipRich and Kizzy Don have reached out to the public for financial support to care for their premature baby, Miracle. The couple is facing a slew of challenges after Miracle was born six months and one week into Kizzy’s pregnancy while they were in Colombia. They have now launched a GoFundMe campaign to help cover their medical expenses.
In a recent update shared online, the couple explained that Miracle would first need to be moved to Colombia’s capital, Bogotá, before being airlifted to the United States for continued treatment. They said the cost to transport their daughter from one continent to the next is estimated to be US$98,000. KipRich emphasised that the financial burden is constantly growing, with daily hospital fees and accommodations piling up.
Kizzy, visibly emotional in updates, admitted that the experience has been overwhelming. She said she has been crying constantly and struggling to process the situation. “I’m depressed; I’ve never been depressed in my life,” she said. Kizzy added that she has been trying to stay strong, but the situation has left her very confused.

Another issue they face is the language barrier, since they do not speak Spanish. The pair have been relying on an associate of KipRich to translate for them, but Kizzy said once they move Miracle to Bogotá, They will have to navigate the city and hospitals on our own.
Despite the challenges, KipRich shared that Miracle is showing remarkable strength. The tiny infant has been receiving treatment in an incubator and recently underwent a blood transfusion, which her parents say she handled well. “She’s a fighter,” KipRich said. “As small as she be, she’s a fighter and she she receiving all the treatments.”

The couple have expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support they have already received from fans, friends, and the public worldwide. Messages of encouragement have come from across the globe, including Jamaica, the United States, England, Africa, Canada, and Trinidad.
