Things got messy on TikTok this week as Jamaican content creators Dee Official and Rosealee found themselves in a heated back-and-forth, all sparked by a viral video involving Akeam.
The drama kicked off after Dee posted clips from an event showing herself snapping videos with Akeam. According to Dee, he saw her nearby and decided to join her and her friends. In the viral video, he has his arm wrapped around her neck in what she described as a friendly moment.
Dee said they had just met in person for the first time that night, and there was nothing more to the interaction. However, once the clips began circulating online, things quickly took a turn.
Some fans started gossiping and bringing it to Rosealee’s attention. At some point after the video was posted, Rosealee got visibly emotional, even tearing up while music played in the background.
Later, she appeared to respond with what many interpreted as a subtle shade. In her livestream, she suggested she does not “own anyone” and threw in a sharp jab about certain people being so irrelevant online that she would not even “spit” on them to revive them. While she did not name anyone directly, social media users quickly connected the dots, and Dee did too.
Dee wasted no time clapping back, accusing Rosealee of throwing subliminals and trying to stir drama. She insisted the situation was being blown out of proportion, adding that people online were deliberately dragging it out because they knew Rosealee would take offence. Dee also labelled her as insecure, arguing that the reaction said more about Rosealee than the video itself.
That did not sit well with Rosealee, who responded in a live stream. When she addressed the situation directly, she pushed back hard against the “insecure” label. She made it clear she earns her own money, pays her own rent, and takes care of her children, stressing that she can get whatever she wants on her own.
Rosealee also denied that her earlier comments were aimed at Dee, claiming they were general statements. But she did not hold back for long, telling Dee to “grow up,” calling her “crazy,” and making it clear she does not see her as a priority. In one pointed remark, she questioned why she would feel jealous, especially given that Dee is married.
She suggested the narrative being pushed online made no sense. She went even further, accusing Dee of intentionally posting the video with Akeam to gain attention and spark controversy.
Dee, however, doubled down on her version of events. She maintained that Ackeam approached her, greeted her and her friends, and casually joined her video. She also addressed rumours circulating online, firmly denying claims that she had been dancing on him.
Taking things a step further, Dee also fired shots at Rosealee’s online presence, suggesting that while she herself has global recognition, she has no interest in building a platform off trolling or constant drama, a comment many saw as a direct dig at Rosealee.
