Regegae legend Jimmy Cliff suffered a seizure and pneumonia and then died at the age of 81. His passing was confirmed on Monday by his wife, Latifa Chambers, in a post shared on his social media pages. Her announcement also revealed that the seizure was followed by pneumonia, a battle he ultimately did not recover from. A policeman was arrested alongside three other men in a case of praedial larceny after they were found with goats on Sunday. The four men were travelling in a grey Toyota Probox motorcar along Morgan’s Pass main road in Clarendon when security forces intercepted the vehicle around 3:50 a.m. The officers who stopped the car noticed three goats inside and inspected the vehicle. Eleven people suffered injuries after a bear attack in British Columbia. The injured were members of a Canadian school group on Thursday afternoon. Among them is a teacher and a parent, whose injuries were described as critical. Two other members of the group sustained serious injuries from the animal. A 10-year-old boy was killed in a motor vehicle incident involving a Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC). The incident happened in the Vineyard Town community in St Andrew on Thursday morning. Police have confirmed that one of the men in Wednesday’s alleged police confrontation was Salime Fitzgerald, who allegedly killed a police officer in December 2024. Fitzgerald goes by the alias “Smeagle” and resides on New Lincoln Road, Kingston 5. A teen was caught on fire during a motorcycle crash after running a red light. It happened when two local teens were riding their dirt bikes near a Target shopping centre in California.
