Jamaican reggae artist Busy Signal gave a groovy performance at the Barclays Centre in New York. The DJ captivated the attendees of the NBA game during his halftime show performance. Busy Signal shared a clip of his performance on Instagram. In the circulating video, he can be seen performing Happy Birthday alongside dancers. The 2024 single is a popular track that went viral on the social media platform TikTok.
Busy Signal also performed hits like Stay So, Step Out, and Watch Out For This. The dancers, representing Jamaica and other countries, danced in crop tops and denim shorts with flags adorning their outfits, which the deejay posted clips of in his Instagram Story.
Upon closing his performance, the audience loudly cheers. In the caption of the post, Busy expressed gratitude to Barclays Centre. The post garnered praise from viewers, some of whom described him as a “LIVING LEGEND” and a “turf president.” One viewer responded, “Busy is the most underrated reggae/dancehall artist of all time!”

Following the performance, he and his team were captured joyously celebrating the successful show. Busy, born Reanno Devon Gordon, had his first major New York City performance at the 2017 staging of Groovin’ In The Park.
The deejay’s successful musical career earned him a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition. The honorary award marked his “outstanding and invaluable service to the community.” The artiste was also honoured with an award of distinction, recognising him as “a Dancehall music legend.” This award was presented to him by Rickford Burke, the chairman of the Guyana Independence Celebration Committee of New York.
Busy Signal’s 2005 debut single, Step Out, was a big hit, garnering commercial success. Busy is renowned for other hits like Whine Pon The Edge, These Are The Days, Nah Go Jail Again, Smoke Some High Grade, Tic Toc, and Unknown Number.
