Cardi B made a striking entrance at a California courthouse Tuesday morning, turning heads in a black-and-white polka dot dress tied together with a dramatic red bow. The rapper, accompanied by her manager Shawn Holiday and a bodyguard, carefully stepped out of her vehicle in Alhambra, just east of Los Angeles, and walked into the courthouse with poise.
Her appearance only fuelled ongoing pregnancy speculation that’s followed her for days. Last week, Cardi was spotted with what some believed to be a noticeable bump, along with a slower, cautious stride.
As she entered the courthouse on Tuesday, onlookers again tried to press her for answers. While one person asked directly if she was expecting, the Grammy winner kept silent and continued inside, leaving the rumour mill spinning.
Inside the court, Cardi is awaiting a verdict in a $24 million lawsuit brought against her by a security guard. The case stems from an alleged altercation at a Beverly Hills obstetrician’s office back in 2018, when she was pregnant with her first child.

However, a scene outside the court just after the proceedings has gone viral after Cardi lashed out at a man. As Cardi exited the courthouse, one man lobbed a question tying the pregnancy rumours to her boyfriend and NFL star Stefon Diggs, asking if she anticipated any paternity drama in light of her ex-husband, Offset, making recent remarks about him getting her pregnant.
The question set Cardi off, and in a flash of frustration, she grabbed a pen from someone nearby and hurled it. “Stop disrespecting me. Don’t disrespect me,” she snapped, pointing out that she never receives those kinds of questions from women.
Her bodyguard immediately ushered her back to her car, and as she did so, Cardi confronted the man head-on, scolding him for the invasive line of questioning. She challenged him directly, asking what gave him the right to cross that line and telling him to “act like you have some manners.” Cardi has yet to directly confirm or deny the pregnancy chatter.
