Exotic dancer Kyhighlah, also known as Coco De Thick, claims that reggae singer Jah Cure threatened her life, among a series of allegations. She released a two-part video on YouTube, in which she described him as a misogynist and exposed his fetishes.
In her account, Kyhighlah said she first met the singer while she was involved with another entertainer. She claimed Jah Cure pursued her and that they later became sexually involved. During the video, she detailed his alleged unusual and taboo sexual preferences.
She alleged that during multiple encounters, protection was removed without her knowledge, something she said left her upset and concerned. She later said she developed an infection after their encounter, which she initially believed was linked to other personal issues.
Kyhighlah also spoke about what she described as controlling behaviour. She claimed Jah Cure requested that she wear specific underwear, which she did not have, and he provided it. She noted that she was at the time intoxicated and complied with wearing them despite it not being something she normally wore. She further alleged that on one occasion, she visited his home and found multiple people there, which led her to believe something was off. She said his behaviour made her uncomfortable, prompting her to leave without informing him.

According to Kyhighlah, her sudden departure sparked an argument. She said she recorded a phone call during which he criticised her for leaving, while she defended her decision. He reportedly insisted she return to his home, and, although she agreed, she did not leave the hotel she had checked into.
In another recording she shared, Kyhighlah claimed the singer threatened her, mentioned her mother, and said he never wanted to see her again. She also displayed messages she said were sent by him, accusing her of theft and demanding the return of money. One message allegedly read, “B*tch, let me go lock up your ass.” She denied stealing anything, but he threatened to show up at her door with the police.

Kyhighlah said the violent threats he issued left her fearful, especially because he said he knew where she lived. She said she contacted loved ones and visited a police station, where she played the recordings. However, she claimed she felt her concerns were not taken seriously because the police were more caught up in talking to a star. With no help for the officers, she reportedly remained at home for about two weeks.
Kyhighlah also claimed that around that time, medical tests confirmed she had a sexually transmitted disease. Kyhighlah made additional statements about Jah Cure’s criminal history, saying his behaviour aligned with his 1999 rape charge. She also described him as dangerous and mentally unwell.
