Many are concerned about Jamaican dancehall artiste Lisa Hyper, who has been very outspoken recently, whether ranting about issues or discussing her colleagues in the entertainment industry. Dancehall artiste Dexta Daps has also expressed concerns over her health while attempting to clear his name.
Dexta is the subject of several of Lisa Hyper’s dramatic online chats. Lisa, known for songs like Bills (featuring Gaza Kim) and Come Ova (featuring Vybz Kartel), claimed that he was the father of a baby she lost in June 2021. According to Lisa, she was reportedly transported to the hospital by an ambulance when she was five months pregnant in the United States. However, she reportedly had a miscarriage.
Additionally, Lisa tattooed Dexta Daps’ legal name, Louis Anthony Grandison Jr., below her right shoulder blade in 2022.
Dexta Daps has not been very vocal about their alleged relationship in the past. In the new live stream, he expressed that he has not seen her in about five years, and yet things continue to haunt him. He said things were spiralling out of control and encouraged her family to help her. He also urged the public to stop listening to the lies she was spreading.
He also indicated that he never had sexual intercourse with her, stating that Mary was the only woman who was impregnated without having sex.
In an Instagram post, he indicated that he is praying for her and shared videos of her saying they were never involved. In the recordings, she can be seen laughing while saying she was only pranking the public. She said they were only colleagues who collaborated.

However, Lisa clapped back at Dexta, urging him to tell the truth, and claimed that he threatened to block her when she told him she was pregnant.
While some social media users are not convinced that Dexta is completely innocent, others believe that Lisa Hyper is struggling mentally. In the past, Lisa candidly spoke about having mental health issues such as psychosis and bipolar disorder. She revealed that she was previously treated at the University Hospital of the West Indies (UHWI). Recently, she expressed that she arranged to go to therapy and receive treatment.
