Jamaican dancehall icon Bounty Killer has made a triumphant return to the United States after being unable to visit the country for more than a decade. The entertainer’s trip to the U.S. comes on the heels of his U.S. visa being reinstated. His visa was revoked in 2010 for unknown reasons, similar to several other Jamaican entertainers.
Bounty Killer’s grand return marks a significant milestone in his illustrious career. In celebration of once again setting foot on American soil, the deejay shared his joy with fans and supporters online. He made a series of social media posts, one of which features him expressing his profound gratitude.
“God is the greatest all the times despite how it may seem like in March 2010 my visa was revoked for what reasons up until this day is unknown, fast forward 15 yrs later today March 2025 i arrived in the states with no hassle the greatest thing I never had to beg bend or bow, i stayed true to myself vigilant and resilient,” he said in the caption of a post featuring a picture of him relaxing in a plane.
Bounty, born Rodney Price, also expressed his appreciation to God, paid tribute to his late mother, Ms Ivey, and extended heartfelt thanks to his manager, Paul ‘Bankey’ Giscombe, for his unwavering dedication throughout the challenging process.
“First and foremost, I want to acknowledge and express my deepest gratitude to God, the source of all my blessings; I am forever grateful for His divine intervention,” he added. His posts have garnered a lot of positive feedback. Fans expressed their joy, and his colleagues in the entertainment industry, such as Vybz Kartel, Popcaan, Shaggy, Busy Signal, Konshens, and Cham, showed their support.

Upon his arrival in the U.S., Bounty Killer was treated to a feast by music mogul DJ Khaled. Photos and videos of their dining, reportedly at his Miami residence, were shared online. Bounty Killer’s U.S.-based fans are excited about his return, as the revocation limited his ability to connect with them and prevented him from performing in America. Bounty Killer is the latest Jamaican artiste to have his U.S. visa reinstated, following the reinstatements of Beenie Man and Vybz Kartel.
