Dancer and content creator Dyema has stepped forward to address the criticism she has been receiving following the chaotic confrontation between TikToker Rosealee and her mother. The incident happened Thursday night, and by early Friday morning, she was pushing back against claims that she enabled her friend’s behaviour.
Dyema began showing her frustration immediately after learning that Rosealee had been taken into police custody. The incident in Seaview Gardens left Rosealee’s mother, Lavern, with a head injury. Lavern did not press charges, and police later released Rosealee.
Before her release, however, Dyema made it clear she was exhausted by the ongoing chaos surrounding her friend. When she found out about the arrest, she became frustrated on live stream, saying she was tired of how Rosealee behaves and how little she listens. She eventually grabbed her keys and went to the station.

Roselee was allowed to leave after Dyema arrived, and outside the station, Dyema confronted her. She warned Rosealee that she was reaching a point where the friendship no longer made sense if her advice continued to be ignored. Rosealee responded with a dismissive attitude, and Dyema continued to scold her, according to the live streams of onlookers.
By Friday morning, critics were calling Dyema an enabler. Some argued she should not have rushed to the police station. Others felt she should have distanced herself and allowed Rosealee to face the consequences. Many also questioned why she did not condemn the fight immediately, especially since the altercation involved Rosealee’s own mother.

Dyema responded on TikTok Live, addressing the swelling criticism head-on. She explained that she constantly advises Rosealee on how to conduct herself, but Rosealee often dismisses those conversations. According to her, Rosealee is stubborn and becomes unreachable once she decides on a course of action.
She also denounced the attack on Lavern, saying plainly that Rosealee should never have put her hands on her mother. Critics claimed that Dyema excused the behaviour because she disliked her own mother, which pushed Dyema to defend herself further. She made it clear that, despite disagreements with her mom, she would never cross that line. “Mi nuh run mother joke…mi wudda neva lick my madda,” she said firmly.
Dyema described Rosealee as a troubled woman who needed love and admitted she tried to talk her down before the fight unfolded, but Rosealee ignored her warnings. Dyema firmly said she cannot control Rosealee, who is an adult. Still, she maintained that she would remain a friend, at least until she reached her own breaking point.
