A video has gone viral showing an altercation in a Brazilian bar that ended with a deadly shooting. The fight, highlighted in a post on X on Wednesday, unfolded between two men. The suspect was actively drinking, and the victim is the goalkeeper identified as Adriano Ferreira Santos, according to the accompanying detail.
The suspect, identified as K.C.C., instigated the fight with Santos based on the CCTV footage. The surveillance footage captured the entire confrontation, beginning with a punch from the suspect and ending in the brutal moment he fired six shots at close range, leaving Santos lifeless on the ground.
The suspect tried to hit Santos first, but the goalkeeper dodged his punch and retaliated with a punch. This led the suspect to withdraw a firearm and discharge it at Santos.
As drinkers scrambled for safety, the shooter placed his beer bottle down and walked away calmly, a detail that many viewers have fixated on. Within two days, civil police in Pinheiro arrested the suspect. He confessed to the shooting and remains in custody.
The post suggested that the altercation may have stemmed from a disagreement during an earlier football game. However, authorities have not confirmed a motive, and investigations are ongoing.
