A video is making rounds on social media showing a physical altercation between two schoolboys, one of whom is now reportedly missing. In the video, a high school student can be seen attacking another student on the road.
The two boys are surrounded by a crowd of excited students from Norman Manley High School, which the student getting attacked also attends.
The schoolboy who is seemingly the instigator can be seen wearing a white shirt and black pants and is from a different school. He repeatedly slaps the other male student, dressed in a green shirt, in the face. However, the victim does not put up a fight or even attempt to shield himself.
Most of the video’s audio consists of the cheers, shouts, and obscenities from the swarm of onlookers gathered around the two boys. However, for a brief moment in the 36-second clip, the schoolboy pauses from striking the other student and mentions what appears to be a previous incident in which the other boy slapped someone else.
“How yuh fi a box up the man like yah him fadda?” he seemingly asked.
The schoolboy continues to forcefully strike the other student, causing his head to hit a zinc fence multiple times. Eventually, the two boys are separated when other male students apparently pull the alleged instigator away and leave with him.
The schoolboy has not yet been identified, but a photograph surfaced, along with a tweet informing the public that he is allegedly missing following the incident. The photograph detailed that the missing high schooler was last seen in the South Camp Road area of Kingston.
The video has sparked outrage among viewers, with social media users condemning the action of the schoolboy. While some social media users used the words of the missing schoolboy to speculate that the student may have done something wrong, others showed no remorse or concern because of his actions.

One viewer wrote, “Who can’t hear will feel.. leave ppl pickney alone!!”
Another said, “Him to bright bout him a beat people pickney.”
