Days after teasing her new song, G.A.D (Girls Are Drugs), and getting fans excited for the new bad girl anthem, Jada Kingdom released the official audio. Within 17 hours of its release, the risqué single debuted in YouTube’s Trending chart, marking the public’s immediate enthusiasm. The song debuted at No. 30, and based on the public’s reception, the song could push further up the chart.
G.A.D fuses dancehall with elements of rock, making the rhyme unique and the song infectious. In the lyrics, Jada Kingdom says that men are addicted to girls, and they are willing to spend it all on a woman who can blow their minds in the bedroom. She states that she is “just a girl in a money man’s world”, and she will do as she desires.
Jada brags about being envied by women and every man’s desire. She declares that she is “happy and stress-free”, living her life to the fullest without falling for men and being showered in gifts by her admirers. She calls herself a “rockstar bitch” that can make a man get high like “ecstasy.”
Additionally, she urges her companion to relax and enjoy the time with her, but it might not last forever, which is the least of her concerns because she is just living her best life.
Jada Kindom, who is a strong advocate of the “wicked gyal era”, sings about breaking men’s hearts, having sexual relationships without a lifetime commitment, and the extent of her wrath if the men she gets involved with mess up.
In response to the song, fans shared their joy and approval in the comments, with one fan saying, “Jada can flow with any genre and never disappoint. girl really talented.”
Another fan expressed, “Literally obsessed with her I will learn this song withing 2 days.”
A third listener praised the rhythm, commenting, “Love the riddim! Good job Jada Kingdom! Song bad like Vandam.”
