Jamaican social media personality A’mari “Dj Mona Lisa” apparently had a dispute with her boyfriend, causing police officers to get involved. Officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force were called to the A’mari’s apartment, and the scene was documented in a video. It is alleged that A’mari’, called the police on her boyfriend, who goes by 7Lawd.
The video was shared online. It shows A’mari’s boyfriend being rowdy while a policeman repeatedly urges him to calm down. While A’mari is not captured in the video, her voice and that of her daughter, Destiny, can be heard.
The issue involved a phone, as 7lawd can be heard demanding his phone. Destiny can be heard saying, “Lock his ass up,” and A’mari states, “You’re not getting my phone.” Three police are visible at the scene, and they attempt to block him from A’mari and her daughter as he consistently approaches them aggressively while arguing. A’mari also urges the police to arrest 7Lawd while he tells the police to take the phone.
Things became more intense when another man, who appeared to be 7Lawd’s associate, filmed a policewoman at the scene. In the video, the policewoman slaps the phone away and orders him not to film her, triggering a heated argument between the two.
The man resumes filming her, prompting the policewoman to try to strike the phone again and the man to raise his hand to hit her. He is removed from the room by another officer.
