A man went live on Facebook after reportedly getting shot several times. A video was shared online, showing an African American man filming himself inside a vehicle. His girlfriend can be heard in the background, trying to get help while the man speaks about his injuries and expresses his love for his mother.
According to the information accompanying the video, the man is a Kansas City resident who was a victim of an attempted robbery. While it is unclear how many robbers were at the scene, he was shot six times in the back by a robber.
The unidentified man, wearing a black hooded sweater with holes in the front, went live on the social media platform. It seems that he may have been bracing himself for death, as he kept mentioning his mother and uttering words that sounded like prayer in a different language.
In the background, his girlfriend can be heard stating that the man’s entire body was going numb. She told someone that her “boyfriend” was shot and exited the vehicle.
“Mamma, I love you,” he said before explaining what happened to the viewers. He stated that the shots seemed to have gone straight through him, but he was unable to look down at his injuries. He also mentioned that he could not move when speaking to someone.
According to the man, he was feeling pain, and his left side was going numb. Following the incident, he was transported to the hospital, per the report. The man received criticism from viewers who thought he was chasing clout while he was shot.
