Dancehall artiste Kiprich says he is not ready to accept an apology from his child’s mother, known publicly as Miss Chin, following the death of his newborn, Miracle. The grieving entertainer and his partner, TikToker Kizzy, had publicly ignored the constant trolling they received from Miss Chin, who is a gospel artiste.
The online jabs later turned to scam accusations when Miss Chin publicly questioned the legitimacy of fundraising efforts organised to assist with the baby’s medical care. Kiprich and Kizzy launched GoFundMe seeking about millions in Jamaican dollars to cover the cost of transportation from Colombia to the United States via ambulance.
Miss Chin’s doubt was later echoed by many online users.
According to Kiprich, the situation became especially painful because the criticism came at a time when his family was focused on getting urgent help for their child. In a recent interview, the singer described the backlash he received as “inhumane.” He recalled some of the comments made online, saying, “go sell back the car that you give to Kizzy. Go sell the block pan the house. Go sell the steel… this is so inhumane… We’re talking about a baby.”
He explained that the fundraising effort was not something he personally planned.“It wasn’t set up for me. And it wasn’t even my idea to set up a GoFundMe… it’s for a baby to move a baby from point A to point B to better care,” he said.
Kiprich, without directly naming Miss Chin as the instigator, said that one individual played a major role in fueling the online criticism. He accused that person of spreading false claims across social media platforms. “That person been going around making her rounds on the internet… she claims she’s sending in information on me, which there are lies… she’s sending information on Kizzy, telling pure lies… she’s saying that no baby don’t exist and all that kind of thing,” he said.
The artiste said the accusations forced him to defend himself publicly while trying to focus on his child’s situation. He described the person as mischievous, saying they were causing problems for no reason. During the interview, Kiprich was asked directly whether he accepted the apology that was later issued by Miss Chin. “No, no, I will not. I will not because… it is too much,” he responded.
After the baby’s passing, Miss Chin shared multiple public apologies online, stating that she did not believe the situation was genuine at the time. In one Instagram post addressed to Kiprich, she wrote that she was sorry for her actions and asked for forgiveness.
“I just want u to know that I am sorry for all that I put u through since lately… I have repented,” she wrote.
Miss Chin also acknowledged that her words could not be taken back and said she regretted adding to Kiprich’s struggles during a painful time.
“I am sincerely sorry & truly dont want to see u hurt or broken… I allowed satan to use me to come up against u using harsh words… I know all a weh me se cannot rub out,” the post read.
