The passing of dancehall entertainer KipRich’s newborn, Miracle, stirred many emotional responses online, including one from his daughter, Kaylia Plunkett. While grieving the loss of her sister, she addressed the criticism and negativity that surfaced after Miracle’s birth.
The emotional message was shared in the comments section under KipRich and Kizzy’s last YouTube video on Sunday. The video shows moments from the private funeral service held for baby Miracle in Colombia.
In her message, Kaylia expressed disappointment that her baby sister, who lived only briefly, became the subject of harsh commentary. “I don’t think you guys can imagine how disappointing it is that my baby sister was barely on earth long enough, and she had a lot of negativity on her name,” she wrote.
She went on to say that Miracle did not deserve the comments that were made about her, stressing that the child was innocent. “She did not deserve all the distasteful words that were said about her. She was just a baby,” the comment read.
Kaylia also revealed that she never had the chance to meet her baby sister before her death. “I didn’t even get to meet her,” she shared, while reminding viewers of the impact words can have. “The tongue is very powerful.”
Baby Miracle was born prematurely at six months while her parents, KipRich and his partner Kizzy Donn, were overseas in Colombia for a scheduled stage show. She had to be placed in intensive care and monitored by medical professionals after her early arrival. While KipRich and Kizzy kept their supporters updated, efforts were made to secure specialised treatment abroad for Miracle. However, the newborn died just a few weeks after her birth.
In closing her message, Kaylia assured that her sister’s memory would live on within the family. “My baby sister Miracle Millions will never be forgotten. Your big sisters got you. I love you so, so much, Miracle,” she wrote.
