Élie Lorvéus, a Radio Caraïbes correspondent for the South-East department, reported that the accused killer admitted to the Decouze police that he had provided a buddy 134,000 gourdes, or $1,000 US, so that his lover Jossita Morille, also known as Michaëlle, a 23-year-old, might be put to death.
In her testimony, she claimed that the girl died because she sent a video of them to his American-born wife.
