Popular social media personality and singer Lolita “Lola Doll” Callender was gravely injured late last night after being shot multiple times while sitting in her car outside her home in Texas Circle, East Ruimveldt. The incident occurred shortly after 11 p.m. as Callender was reportedly parking her white Mercedes-Benz.
As of this morning, the 33-year-old beautician remains in critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC), where medical staff are preparing her for surgery. According to her family, she sustained several gunshot wounds.
“I was inside when I heard gunshots. I ran out and saw my sister in the car, bleeding badly. There was blood everywhere,” said one of Callender’s brothers, who had rushed her to the hospital with another sibling. Dressed in clothes soaked with blood, he recounted the harrowing experience while speaking to Stabroek News at the GPHC. The brothers focused solely on getting their sister medical help and did not stop to search for the shooter.
“I can’t even say where all she was hit. Her face, her side—there was just so much blood. But she’s a fighter,” he added, visibly shaken and overwhelmed.
A source who reviewed surveillance footage of the shooting told the newspaper that a lone gunman, who had arrived on a motorcycle, appeared to be waiting for Callender. Once she parked, the man approached from behind the building, fired through the car window at close range, and then fled the way he came.

Friends and family gathered at the hospital throughout the night, some in prayer, others sharing memories and hoping for Callender’s recovery.
In an official statement released early this morning, police confirmed that Callender had been shot multiple times—specifically in the neck, face, hands, and right leg—by a male suspect who fled the scene on a motorcycle. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and continuing their investigation.
“She is in critical condition and receiving medical attention,” the police said, noting that efforts are ongoing to identify and locate the suspect.
