KipRich’s baby mother, Miss Chin, has offered condolences to both him and Kizzy after the reported death of their newborn baby. The message, shared on Instagram, also explained why she initially questioned the pregnancy.
On Thursday, Miss Chin expressed shock and sympathy for the couple. The gospel singer, who had previously been openly critical, appeared to soften her stance in the Instagram Story. She took a more compassionate tone as she explained that her earlier doubts were based on information she said she received before the pregnancy became public.
“Wow… to be honest, I didn’t believe at first that she was pregnant, because ppl told me about what happened in the past,” she wrote. Miss Chin had previously not only questioned the baby’s condition but also raised doubts about the existence of the child. According to her post, she only realised the severity of the situation when she saw the video that the couple shared online of the baby being airlifted. “I didn’t know it was a serious situation until I saw a video of the baby being airlifted,” she continued.
“As I came on social media & just seeing this… my condolences goes out to them, as a mother… I would NEVER wish this for her. I pray God comfort you in this time,” the post concluded.
In the weeks leading up to the baby’s birth, Miss Chin took an opposing stance online, frequently sharing posts that threw shade at the couple. The public called her out for being jealous, which she strongly and repeatedly denied. She even told social media users that she could have maintained a relationship with KipRich, but she decided not to due to several issues in their relationship.
After KipRich and Kizzy Don revealed that their premature baby was hospitalised in Colombia and that they were seeking public donations to help cover medical and travel costs, Miss Chin pointed to the cosmetic surgery scandal that previously surrounded Kizzy. She said she was not convinced that their baby situation was real because Kizzy was accused of misleading social media users in the past to allegedly get money for cosmetic surgery.
Although Kizzy had denied those claims at the time, Miss Chin indicated that she believed the fundraising surrounding the baby could be another attempt to deceive the public.
She also questioned why donations were necessary, suggesting that KipRich should have enough money to cover the medical expenses based on his flashy lifestyle and multiple assets.
