What should have been a time for celebration turned into a chaotic and devastating event for TikToker Moya Slays, who is still recovering from the physical assault she endured at social media influencer Rebel’s party. Moya and her partner, TJ, shared their disappointment after producer Romeich issued a public apology for ordering his associates to attack TJ.
In response to the apology, TJ expressed his uncertainty regarding whether or not he would forgive Romeich for his actions. However, Moya harbours hatred towards the producer and rejects the apology. She broke into tears when she candidly spoke about the ordeal online. “Nutt’n weh mi experience inna life neva mek mi feel the way mi feel last night,” she stated.
Moya was assaulted when she jumped into the fight to defend TJ, whom she said was getting a kick and “proper beat down” over a small conflict. She expressed that she was focused on defending her partner and was not thinking about her own well-being at the time. She has been having flashbacks of the ordeal whenever she closes her eyes.
“Unuh cudda mek mi deh yah so a mourn mi man right now… mi man cudda dead because a unuh and unuh ego,” she continued. “Imagine 10 different people a fight one woman and one man.”
Moya suffered bruises and a bloody broken toenail from the attack and apparently received medication. While noting that she had a headache, she said that all over her body ached as well. The popular TikToker described her current state as “traumatised” and “disappointed.”
“There is nothing weh you can do to fix this inna my book,” she said in response to Romeich’s offer to help. She also added no amount of money or apology could make things right. “Mi ago hate yuh fi life. There is no coming back from this…Once people dead to mi, people dead to me and yuh dead to me. “
She continued by saying, “Mi know nuff people nah go wah fi come out and talk cause yuh a everybody Santa Clause, and that’s fine; you are not my Santa Clause; a one God mi have, and a di one up deh suh, so we nuh need fi inna nuh dealings.”
