Popular rapper Offset was involved in a physical altercation in Paris, and footage of the incident has gone viral.
The drama unfolded as Offset, a former Migos rapper, was exiting the Hôtel du Collectionneur with his associates Wednesday night. Just outside the hotel, they were confronted by a group of men who approached them aggressively, according to TMZ.
The confrontation was reportedly over a video shoot that Offset was paid $150,000 to do but did not deliver. According to TMZ, the group of men were part of French rapper Gazo’s entourage, and they were allegedly infuriated that Offset failed to meet their requirements due to “laziness.”
The group reportedly wanted Offset to return the money, but he refused. Offset was slammed into a vehicle during the altercation, and he even shouted “I’ll fire your ass up” when his security held him back from the men. A brawl erupted, and one of Offset’s associates was also kicked in the back of the head by one of the men.
Eventually, Offset escaped his guard and landed a kick in one of the men’s heads. The rapper was rushed inside the hotel by the guard shortly after. However, the men swarmed the door and tried to yank Offset out of the hotel.
TMZ also reported that a woman was also fighting off the men, and she fell on the pavement outside of the hotel. Later, police officers arrived at the hotel, but no one was arrested.
