Rebel has finally broken her silence after the dispute between Khandy and Rosealee cast a shadow over her event, and her response has stirred just as much conversation as the altercation itself. Instead of choosing sides, Rebel placed the blame on both women for turning what she hoped would be a smooth, memorable night into yet another chaotic moment she never wanted to relive.
Rebel was driven to tears when she expressed disappointment that the respect she shows to both women is not always returned. She explained that she has consistently supported and encouraged them, and all she wanted was for her event to run peacefully, especially since her 2024 event was disrupted by turmoil involving other personalities. With that in mind, she said this latest situation felt like history repeating itself.
Her decision to hold both women accountable has attracted backlash. Many viewers believe she should have openly identified the person most responsible, and some felt uneasy seeing Rosealee appear in the livestream with Rebel and Swiss Lee. To them, it created the impression that Rebel favoured one side, even though she insisted she could not choose because she never witnessed the confrontation firsthand.
During the live, Rebel addressed comments made by Khandy in another stream, where Khandy suggested people knew about Rosealee’s intentions beforehand but did not warn her. Rebel asked her to be clear about whom she was referring to, noting that vague statements were causing people to blame her unfairly. She emphasised that she looked out for Khandy all night and would never “violate” either of them. Yet she found herself labelled a hypocrite while, in her view, both women contributed to the disruption.
Rebel recalled hearing people shout that a fight was happening just as she was about to leave the venue. When she checked, both women were already in their vehicles. She said she addressed them separately and told them. In the live stream, she told them, “Mi nuh rate none unuh, after dat deh night deh,” expressing that she felt betrayed by the situation. To her, the conflict could have been handled elsewhere, regardless of who started it.
Rebel added that she plans to distance herself from TikTok circles for now, a sentiment Swiss Lee echoed. Swiss Lee pointed out that after Khandy’s emotional statement, people began speculating that others were involved in setting her up, and the lack of clarity only fuelled the confusion.
Khandy later clarified she was not referring to Rebel when she mentioned that people knew about the situation beforehand. It appears that she was speaking about King Donia, to whom Rosealee allegedly told her plans. She also stated that Swiss Lee could have called her directly, but instead reached out to Rosealee to speak about her.
On Sunday, when everyone thought most of the drama was done, Rosealee made it clear that she intends to take things further. During a live stream with Swiss Lee, she said that she would carry a bottle of acid to Dolly Sundays, which Khandy was planning to go to as well. Khandy responded by saying she would not match that behaviour and believes jealousy is motivating much of the tension directed toward her. It appears that neither of them attended the event in the end.
