Following the brawl at Jamaican influencer Rebel’s party, renowned producer Romeich Major issued a public apology to the victims who were physically assaulted. Romeich was revealed to be the instigator for the brawl that involved TikTok couple Moya and TJ at Mass Camp on November 30th.
He was revealed to be the instigator after audio surfaced over the weekend. In the audio, his voice can be heard giving his associates the command to start the fight. The incriminating audio featured the producer saying, “Guh box him dung nuh.”
The audio resulted in islandwide backlash from the public, while Rebel and TikToker Swiss Lee urged the producer to apologise. Romeich subsequently opened up during a TikTok livestream, expressing that he disappointed a lot of people, including his fiancée and his family.
“I am such a big public figure that anything I do affects my family, friends, and team… Mi affi come on board and apologise to TJ, apologise to Moya, apologise to the people of Jamaica, and apologise to everyone that was there that night,” he stated. Romiech also indicated that he allowed his ego and emotions to get the best of him that night. While stating that he takes complete accountability for the brawl, he added he is willing to do anything to make it up to Moya and TJ.
Romeich recounted the incident, noting that he and TJ were initially on good terms that night. However, TJ had a conflict with a security guard, who did not want him to be at a particular section of the stage while he was recording the performance. The altercation later included multiple security personnel, and Romeich spoke to TJ, who said he was disrespected.
According to Romeich, TJ was still upset over the matter some time afterwards and when he addressed Romeich again someone from Romeich’s group dissed TJ. TJ clapped back with a disrespectful remark towards the group and Romeich gave the command.
Romeich indicated that his actions not only angered the public, but also resulted in death threats towards his family, and he asked the public to keep his family out of the matter.

Additionally, Romeich released a lengthy statement in which he noted that he is taking steps to cooperate with “any investigations and legal proceedings related to this incident.”
