Well-known spiritual advisor RT Boss, legally named Nardo Smith, has filed a lawsuit against dancehall artiste Spice over damaging comments she made about him. On Monday, RT Boss shared the details of the lawsuit on social media while gloating.
RT Boss and Spice have been feuding for years, but they were initially friends. RT claimed that he and Spice were thick as thieves in the earlier stages of her career when he allegedly performed witchcraft for her. Sometime after they fell out, he took to social media to expose Spice, leading to months of him ranting about the entertainer. Spice occasionally clapped back at the rants, exposing his deeds as well.
However, one of Spice’s clapbacks has now led to her being sued after she allegedly called him a paedophile. RT Boss shared the document online, showing that the entertainer, born Grace Hamilton, described him as a paedophile on a podcast. The lawsuit named Spice, her company Spice Entertainment LLC, public figure Monique Palmer, and Goat Throat Records LLC.
The lawsuit details that defendants Spice and Palmer called the plaintiff, RT Boss, a paedophile on a podcast in May 2024. Spice allegedly repeated the defamatory statements multiple times despite knowing the allegations were false.
“Spice went on multiple platforms and repeated the false allegations against Plaintiff. Defendant Spice knew the allegations were false but chose to continue the slanderous behaviour due to her feelings on the parties terminated business relationship,” the lawsuit said.
The document denies that RT Boss has ever molested or had any physical or intimate relationship with the alleged victim that the defendants accused of being involved with. The document said that the defendants slandered RT’s name due to malice, causing his reputation to be tarnished. The allegations also made him the subject of “ridicule and contempt,” as well as “public hatred.”
RT Boss is now seeking punitive damages and monetary compensation to cover his attorneys’ fees.
RT The boss gloated about the lawsuit online, expressing that he would win. He laughed at those who doubted him and confidently stated that the entertainer would have to pay up.
