Following the gruesome murder of TikToker Jabari “Baba Skeng” Johnson, speculations have been circulating regarding who is the mastermind behind his killing. Some allegations have pointed to reggae artiste Fotan Mojah, accusing him of orchestrating the murder of Johnson. However, Fantan Mojah has vehemently denied the allegations and threatened to take legal action against vloggers spreading the allegations.
Fantan was accused due to his alleged feud with Johnson’s father, reggae singer Jah Mason. The allegations claim that a turf war between the two Jamaican entertainers led to the TikToker being fatally shot on Red Hills Road in St Andrew during his live stream. It is also alleged that after Johnson was reportedly deported to Jamaica, he was targeted because of the ongoing feud.
In response to the allegations, Fantan Mojah shared a video on social media, clearing his name. He stated that he has always been a firm advocate for what is right and urges everyone to live in unity and peace. He warned the bloggers to “cease and desist” before they are formally hit with a lawsuit.
“Mi will tek drastic action with law,” he said. He went on to call Jah Mason his “brother” despite their past conflicts. He also sent condolences to Jah Mason’s family.
Another rumour has been circulating that points to his friends as the alleged killers. According to this allegation, Johnson was affiliated with people who were involved in wrongful doings. Those people, who are said to be his so-called friends, allegedly took his life.
A live chat with one of the accused friends features the friend denying the allegations. Another person on the live chat pressured the individual on the live stream to confess to the killing, but the accused maintained his innocence.
While the speculations circulate, the St. Andrew North Police continue to probe the murder of Johnson, and there have been no updates regarding any leads or suspects.
