Dancehall artiste Shenseea has released a new single titled Puni Police and fans are loving it. The song, accompanied by vibrant visuals, was released on YouTube on January 29. In less than 24 hours, the music video racked up over 226,000 views and more than 22,000 likes.
The song, receiving much praise from fans, quickly debuted in YouTube’s trending chart for Jamaica. Currently, the song is at No. 27 on the chart.
Puni Police was produced by popular producer DiGenius. Shenseea and DiGenius previously announced that they are working on a song together, exciting fans. Shenseea collaborated with DiGenius on her 2024 hit single Hit and Run, which has over 113 million views on YouTube.
Puni Police is a raunchy track expressing a woman’s frustration with a man who is monitoring her every move because he is obsessed with her lady parts. Shenseea expresses all the reasons why her partner is a “puni police.” She expresses that she needs some time apart from her partner and warns other females to run from such men.
The music video features her being stalked by a man, who is also a police officer. There are scenes of her at home with her partner, who searches her phone and tracks her down when she goes out.
