After YouTuber DDG accused Halle of keeping his son, Halo, from him, many social media users criticised Halle for being a bad mother. While some fans have been defending her and expressing disapproval of DDG’s actions, Halle has been facing backlash. Amid the drama, a video was compiled showing the three together on different occasions.
The focus of the video is Halle’s behaviour around DDG while he is holding Halo. She consistently reaches to take the baby away from DDG, who avoids giving her their son. On each occasion, they are seen happily celebrating with family and friends, but some social media users are speculating that the issues DDG exposed are evident in Halle’s gestures.
An Instagram user said, “She don’t trust him as a father smh u can tell.”
Another Instagram user wrote, “The baby was just fine with dad, OF COURSE the baby will want mom, if mom is constantly forcing herself in front of the child, reaching her arms out towards them. A baby’s natural reaction is to reach back to good parents. I think that’s common sense.”
However, some viewers stated that DDG seemed as if he did not want Halle to have the baby. One viewer wrote, “What this looks like is he never gives her a chance to hold the baby.”
Some Instagram users clapped back at these notions, claiming that he could not keep the baby away from her since Halo lives with Halle. “Are you selectively restarted like seriously the child lives with her you women love this victim or victor mindset you need to stop with that nonsense and actually think.”
Meanwhile, Halle has still not responded to the accusations that DDG made. Instead, she mentioned taking a break from the internet due to her and Halo being unwell.
It is unclear how the couple will proceed to handle the difficulties they face in co-parenting. DDG previously mentioned not wanting to take the matter to court because it would hurt Halle.
“I don’t wanna go to court because it’s gonna make her unhappy,” he said. He also expressed confidence in winning in court if he took the legal route.
