Dancehall artiste Spice continues to prove her unstoppable presence in the music industry as she prepares to add another major achievement to her growing list of accolades. It was revealed that her smash So Mi Like It is on the verge of hitting 100 million streams on Spotify, a milestone that qualifies it for an RIAA gold certification in the United States.
This announcement was made through music analytics and chart-tracking social media account @Chartdata, according to Prism Marketing Consultants. As of May 2025, the breakout hit has 98.8 million streams on Spotify, per the report. The song has already snagged gold status in Canada and silver in the UK, and by the end of February, it was closing on 535,000 copies sold in the U.S.
The Queen of Dancehall shared the thrilling news of approaching another gold status on Instagram with her 4.6 million supporters on Wednesday morning. Hundreds of joyful and congratulatory responses flooded the post within minutes.

This latest accomplishment represents a significant win for the Grammy-nominated artist and shines a global spotlight on dancehall. While Spice’s classic tracks continue to make waves and reach new milestones, fans are anticipating her new project, the Cyphers of the A Album.

Spice recently revealed that she is independently producing her upcoming album and clued fans in on one of the tracks that they can expect to be on it: Eleven. The trending diss track, which targeted one of her castmates, Bambi, on the Love & Hip Hop reality series, was released on April 5.
On the heels of its release, the track topped the iTunes Top 100 Reggae Singles chart within hours. The achievement saw it overthrow Bob Marley and the Wailers’ iconic Three Little Birds. The song quickly became a viral sensation and debuted in the Top 30 on the iTunes All-Genres Chart in major markets like the U.S., U.K., and Canada. The song made history as the first dancehall diss track to reach such heights in those countries.
