Reports are saying that NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs is in the middle of a court battle over paternity while preparing for a new child with his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B. Court filings reveal that model and influencer Aileen Lopera, known online as Lord Gisselle, has alleged Diggs is the father of her months-old daughter.
The court documents were cited by TMZ Sports, informing the public that Lopera filed a petition in Los Angeles County while she was still pregnant in December 2024. The paperwork reportedly named Diggs as the father of the baby she was carrying.
Lopera gave birth to her daughter in April, and in July, Diggs expressed uncertainty. He, in a mid-July filing, said that he was not certain of his connection to the child and formally requested genetic testing to resolve the matter.

On July 17, a judge ordered both parties to undergo DNA testing. It remains unclear if those tests have been completed or if results are available. According to TMZ, Diggs’ attorney declined to comment, while Lopera’s lawyer, Tamar Arminak, said her client is focused on having the football star acknowledge and provide for his daughter in Los Angeles.

The legal proceedings have now been thrust into the spotlight at a personal turning point for Diggs. Just this week, Cardi B publicly announced that the couple is expecting their first child together. While Diggs did not elaborate on the news during his duties with the New England Patriots, he shared on social media that he hoped the baby would be a boy.

Diggs is already a father to an 8-year-old daughter, Nova. Meanwhile, Cardi B has three children, Kulture, Wave, and Blossom, with her ex-husband, Offset. Cardi and Offset secretly tied the knot in September 2017 and were together for 6 years before she filed for a divorce in 2024.
