Rapper Stunna Girl is claiming that her connection with dancehall artiste Skeng was not brief or recent but instead lasted for about a year during his ongoing relationship with his long-time girlfriend, Aysha Miller, with whom he shares two children.
The rapper made the statement during a recent live stream, where she responded to viewers’ questions about the controversy surrounding her and Skeng. The speculation began after photos and videos circulated online showing Skeng hugging, kissing, and spending time with Stunna Girl, sparking rumours about their relationship.
During the live session, Stunna Girl said many people misunderstood the situation and the timeline of their involvement. “Oh, y’all want to know that tea? Let’s get into that tea,” she said before addressing claims that she had only recently met the Jamaican entertainer.
According to the rapper, their relationship began much earlier than fans believed. “How y’all try to make it seem like I had just met that man in December? That was a lie. I met him last year (2024), and I actually had been messing with him for a whole entire year, unbeknownst to y’all, because it’s none of y’all business,” she said.
She also claimed their relationship was serious, stating that she met members of his family and was not being kept hidden. “I never was a secret. I never was hidden,” she said.
Stunna Girl further alleged that Skeng spoke about starting a family with her during their time together. “That man was trying to plant a family with me,” she told viewers, adding that she eventually began distancing herself after questioning things she had been told. “What he had going on outside of me was a whole different story of what he told me,” she said during the stream.
The live stream comments follow an earlier Instagram post from the rapper that gained attention online. In the post, she denied being responsible for breaking up a relationship, writing, “I never broke up a happy home. Mfs came to my house unhappy and ish.”
