A public fallout between TikToker Ivany Wright and popular lash technician Intended Beauty unfolded on TikTok on Wednesday after Ivany reportedly heard a voice recording of the business owner speaking badly about her behind her back.
Intended Beauty, who operates an eyelash extension business, was allegedly heard in the recording criticizing Ivany’s behavior as a client. According to Ivany, the recording included claims that she was frequently late for appointments, sometimes arriving hours behind schedule, and that she would tamper with her lash extensions by pulling them out before returning to have them fixed.
Ivany addressed the situation during a TikTok livestream, expressing disappointment and frustration. She said she had never disrespected Intended Beauty in the past but felt hurt that the lash technician chose to speak about her with others rather than addressing the issue directly.
The dispute escalated when both women went live on TikTok to share their sides of the story. Ivany explained that Intended Beauty had been doing her lashes for some time, but one appointment did not meet her expectations. She said she later scheduled another appointment to have the lashes redone but admitted that she has struggled with punctuality in the past. According to Ivany, if lateness was truly an issue, the lash technician should have enforced business policies such as cancellation rules or late fees instead of discussing her with others.
She also argued that because she was dissatisfied with a previous service, she believed the issue should have been corrected. Intended Beauty, however, maintained that she was not obligated to redo the service, although she reportedly had offered to fix them for free. During the broadcast, Intend also said that if Ivany was unhappy with her work, she could choose from the many lash technicians available in Atlanta.
However, in the recording, she complained about Ivany visiting another lash technician multiple times before returning to her for services. Ivany clarified during the livestream that she sought another technician because she needed her lashes done sooner than the appointment date she had been given by Intended Beauty.
According to Ivany, several people had previously warned her that Intended Beauty was speaking negatively about her. She said she initially ignored those claims and even blocked some individuals because she did not believe there was any conflict between them. However, after continued messages, she decided to investigate and eventually heard the recording herself.
Intended Beauty reportedly defended her comments by explaining that repeated lateness disrupted her schedule, as she had other clients to attend to throughout the day. She also referred to her comments as responses to a question she was asked and idly gossiping about her.
However, Ivany maintained that the recording is pure gossip and called out Intended for gossiping about many people behind their backs, including dancehall artiste Jada Kingdom.
During the livestream exchange, tensions rose as both women traded insults and accusations. Ivany accused Intended Beauty of being “badmind,” claiming Intended trolled her social media pages with fake accounts. She also questioned why Intended Beauty would entrust her with personal matters, including leaving her child with her; she harbored bad feelings towards her.
Ivany further alleged that Intended Beauty copied her choices, including purchasing a similar vehicle she had expressed interest in.
