TikToker TJ has confirmed that he and his girlfriend Moya settled on the assault incident involving producer Romeich Major out of court. The revelation came during a recent live stream. TJ addressed his fans on the live stream in a calm and relaxed manner, letting his supporters know that the matter was settled and they are doing fine now.
He also mentioned that the settlement went in their favour, as they won. However, he did not disclose the figure that they agreed on. There apparently will not be any legal repercussions, as the incident was handled without the involvement of the police.

The physical assault occurred in November 2024 when TJ and his girlfriend Moya attended Dancing Rebel’s birthday party at Mass Camp in Kingston. The physical assault stemmed from a dispute between producer Romeich Major and TikToker TJ, which quickly escalated into a brutal brawl that ended with TJ and Moya being brutally beaten. The melee involved Romeich’s associates, Moya and TJ.
Among the suspects who ganged up on the couple is an off-duty police officer. The footage of the fight garnered widespread backlash after it was posted online. In the audio of one video, Romeich is implicated as the instigator when he is heard instructing his associates to beat the TJ.
Romeich issued a public apology in December, but the apology failed to bring closure to the victims, and they rejected it. Moya, visibly shaken during a livestream, expressed deep emotional trauma from the event.
Moya suffered multiple injuries, including bruises. Her partner, TJ, sustained a swollen eye and a foot injury after being “properly beaten”, as described by Moya.
There was also a report that an investigation was launched into the incident after veteran journalist Cliff Hughes raised the matter on national radio, questioning the role of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). Additionally, the couple had sought legal counsel from high-profile attorney Peter Champagnie, Q.C., J.P., known for defending several notable Jamaican entertainers.
