Dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel seems to have subtly responded to Foota Hype again after the popular sound system selector criticised the car he gifted to Shawn Storm, igniting drama online.
After Vybz Kartel bought dancehall deejay Shawn Storm a BMW, Foota Hype claimed that Shawn Storm, as a loyal friend of Vybz Kartel, deserved a better vehicle. Foota Hype added that an X5 or X6 would be a nicer gift. He also urged Shawn Storm to return the vehicle to a dealership and upgrade it to a better one.
However, Shawn lashed out at the critics, whom he referred to as “big batty bwoy” and “batty gyal.” He affirmed his friendship with Vybz Kartel and expressed that some people wanted them to remain behind bars. Although he refrained from calling his name, Shawn Storm made it clear he was talking about Foota Hype when he added that he wanted the BMW and his haters would see more vehicles and questioned if they had ever purchased even a bicycle for their friend.
Afterwards, Foota Hype responded to Shawn Storm’s remarks by indicating that Shawn Storm was more likely to be a “batty bwoy” because he was incarcerated with Vybz Kartel and many other men for more than a decade. He also mentioned that Vybz Kartel was seen socialising with TikToker Jayden, who has made homosexual jokes online.
Foota Hype’s criticism resulted in Vybz Kartel boasting about also buying his daughter a car and throwing shade that some fathers could not even buy underwear for their daughters. However, Foota responded by indicating that the statement was strange and asked why Vybz Kartel would talk about men buying panties for their daughters.

In Vybz Kartel’s latest response made on Thursday, he shared a video captioned “#GodistheGreatest” in his Instagram Stories. In the video, which shows a scenic view, Vybz Kartel indicated that haters were desperate for his attention, but he would give them the reaction they wanted. He added that he is in his own world with God, his family, music, and money.
