After a lady was shot and killed on Friday morning in the lavatory of a St Andrew bar, her ex-boyfriend has been arrested.
The shooting was allegedly at the club on South Odeon Avenue in Kingston 10, and the man—who was supposedly an ex-soldier—was taken up by police a few hours later.
Rochelle Mason, a 29-year-old hairdresser from Denver Crescent in Marverley, Kingston 20, has been identified as the deceased woman.
Mason was reportedly approached by a man, who was reportedly her ex-lover, at a party about one in the morning and pulled to a bathroom.
A little while later, there was an explosion, and the man was observed coming out of the bathroom.
After looking into it, a customer called the police and set off an alarm. When they arrived, Mason was found sitting on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood, seemingly suffering from a gunshot wound to the mouth.
After being taken to the hospital, she was declared dead.
