A Colombian woman was caught on camera murdering her spouse with a strike to the head, and the chilling footage has since gone viral, triggering intense public reaction. The brutal incident unfolded on June 29, 2025, in the Bachué neighbourhood of El Rosal, Cundinamarca.
According to KrudPlug, in the earlier parts of the video, the couple is seen in the middle of a heated argument. The video obtained by Moon 10 shows when the dispute escalated. Her spouse is seen lying defenceless on the sidewalk when the woman grabs a large rock and strikes him in the head.
The blow proved fatal, as he was pronounced dead shortly after. According to the Technical Corps of Criminal and Judicial Investigation (CTI), the victim, a 55-year-old man, died from severe head trauma. Authorities say the attacker, identified as a 31-year-old woman, attempted to flee the scene but was caught by National Police officers just a short distance away.
She was taken into custody and charged with aggravated homicide. While the visuals leave little room for doubt, when the woman was brought before a judge, she denied responsibility for the killing. Nonetheless, she has been placed in pretrial detention as the investigation continues.
Prosecutors say they will vigorously pursue justice, citing the victim’s vulnerable position during the attack as a key factor in the case.
The video’s release has sparked not only outrage but also speculation. Online, some social media users have questioned what led to the deadly confrontation, suggesting that the woman’s motive might go deeper than what’s immediately visible. Still, the authorities remain focused on the facts, stating that regardless of the circumstances, the use of such violence is unjustifiable.
