An American woman shot her four daughters in the head in Wyoming before turning the gun on herself. The horrific incident has left one of the four girls hospitalised in critical condition, while the other three died.
According to a report, the girls were murdered on Monday, and the mother alerted the police. The local sheriff’s office explained that the mother called 911 in the afternoon and told the police her four daughters were shot. The 32-year-old mother, Tranyelle Harshman, informed the dispatcher where the girls were inside the house and quickly disconnected the call.
The police discovered the four girls (a 9-year-old, a 7-year-old, and two 2-year-olds) inside their home in Big Horn County. All four of the girls had gunshot wounds to their heads. Three succumbed to their injuries, while Harshman’s 7-year-old daughter survived the attack and was transported to the Salt Lake City hospital.
Harshman, who turned the gun on herself after shooting them, was also discovered with a gunshot wound to the head. Harshman was still alive when the police found her, but she later died.

An investigation has been launched into the gruesome murder of the little girls. Harshman’s husband, Cliff Harshman, defended his wife in an interview with Cowboy State Daily. Cliff is the biological father of the two 2-year-old girls, who were born less than a year apart. He was aiding his wife with the two older children.
In the interview, he claimed his wife was “not a monster.” He shared that she suffered severe mental health problems, such as PTSD and postpartum depression. He said she has been taking medications, which he said could exacerbate her condition.
While the 7-year-old is fighting for her life in the hospital, friends have created a fundraiser to help offset her medical bills.
