TikToker Annie was reportedly almost in a brawl with her boyfriend’s landlady. According to information shared online, Annie was at her boyfriend Yankee’s residence when the confrontation unfolded on Tuesday morning.
Annie and Yankee, a fellow TikToker, recently went public with their relationship and have been flooding social media with loved-up moments. From date nights to cosy time at home, the pair appeared inseparable. This week, the pair went over to Yankee’s residence, which social media users say is located in Gregory Park, Portmore, St Catherine.
While they were home, two people reportedly barged inside the residence, and a confrontation exploded. Annie claimed that the landlady, along with her mother, entered the house without authority. They reportedly came to attack her, causing a heated argument to erupt. During the exchange, Annie alleged that the landlady grabbed a broom to use it as a weapon against her.
In response, Annie said she armed herself with a pair of scissors, explaining that she felt threatened. Fortunately, the situation did not escalate further, as those involved were reportedly separated before anyone was seriously hurt.
In a screen recording, Annie and the landlady are in a screaming match while someone restrains Annie. Annie warns the landlady that there will be consequences if she dares to hit. The landlady claps back and later can be heard shouting that she owns the house in response to Annie accusing her of barging inside.
In a screen recording circulating online, Annie can be seen visibly shaken as she explains her side of the story. She claimed that several people came to fight her and said she only picked up the scissors to defend herself after the landlady allegedly took up the broom. Annie repeatedly expressed that she just wanted to leave and go back home.
After the incident, Annie shared that she had no idea how serious Yankee’s living situation was before visiting. She said that had she known, she would have rented an Airbnb for the two of them instead. Annie also claimed that Yankee’s landlady regularly harasses him and barges into his space whenever she feels like it.
Yankee reportedly agreed that he needs to relocate, suggesting that his landlady believes he has a lot of money and behaves unprofessionally toward him because of it. It is said that she wanted to raise the rent and gave him an eviction notice. She reportedly became hostile due to Annie’s presence and ordered them both to leave.
Fellow TikTokers Jayden and Jabass, who are close affiliates of Annie, also weighed in on the situation. They expressed concern about her remaining in the area following the altercation, referencing the location’s history of violence. Both urged Yankee, and especially Annie, to leave the area immediately for her safety.
