Rapper Ice Spice got into a physical altercation with a fan at a McDonald’s after she was suddenly slapped in the face. Things got really messy for the “Deli” hitmaker Wednesday night when she and a friend stopped to grab a bite at a fast food spot in Hollywood. While sitting in a booth, the pair were approached by a female fan.
In now-circulating surveillance footage from inside the restaurant, the woman initially appeared eager to join the star. However, the interaction became violent moments later.
According to reports, the fan tried to squeeze into the booth and join them, but she was not welcomed at the table. Ice Spice and her friend were clearly not interested in entertaining the moment and instead wanted to enjoy their meal in peace. The rapper can be seen gesturing toward the exit, a not-so-subtle sign that the woman needed to leave.
But instead of backing off, the woman squared up with the rapper. The woman moved closer and closer, getting into Ice Spice’s space while she remained seated. The tension built quickly, and then the fan suddenly smacked her across the face.
Ice Spice appeared caught off guard by the hit but immediately tried to defend herself. A man nearby stepped in and pulled the woman away. Ice Spice jumped up onto the table and began hopping across booths, chasing after the woman as she was being ushered out of the restaurant.
Shouting erupted as the confrontation spilt outside, with both sides continuing to argue in the street. The man was also arguing with Ice Spice. More clips from outside show Ice Spice fighting the woman in the street as the confrontation continued.
Ice Spice’s legal team has since described the incident as an unprovoked attack and confirmed that the matter has been reported to authorities. They made it clear that they will be using the full force of the law against the woman.
Meanwhile, the woman involved has shared her own version of events, claiming the situation started after she felt disrespected during the initial interaction. She claims she approached the rapper respectfully and was met with hostility, alleging that Ice Spice insulted her. She explained they had fought outside after she heard the rapper cursing as she sought her out. She said he has no beef with her, but she is no longer a fan after seeing how disrespectful she is.
